1-Tube Labeller:

Following the analysis order, the laboratory information system (LIS) software carries out patient- specific automated labelling of tubes before blood sampling. Labelled tubes are issued in a tray, ready to use, ensuring that labels are perfectly adhered and no tubes are missing.

2- Sample Transportation System – Tempus600

It consists of Sending Module (Tempus600 Vita/or Quantit/or Necto), Receiving Module, optional Connecting Module and Control Unit

Sending Module (Tempus600 Vita): Blood sample tubes are sent immediately one by one to the laboratory in a single tube transport without requiring any further packing.

Sending Module (Tempus600 Quantit): Many samples can be dispatched simultaneously without any packaging.
You don’t even have to consider orientation, as Quantit manages that. An optional urgency module can be added allowing you to access the system at any time and manually place urgent samples for immediate processing.

Sending Module (Tempus600® Necto): High throughput automated solution enables accessioning and transportation over long distances. The system streamlines the entire registering and sorting process.

  • Samples can be transferred to up to six different destinations – two local bins and four distant destinations.
  • Standard Necto comes with one sending module however, extra sending modules can be customized.
  • Processes a wide range of materials such as serum, plasma, whole blood, urine etc.
  • Sample are sorted using barcodes, dimensions, tube recognition or as a combination
  • Cap colour and tube geometry identification is performed via built-in camera
  • Intelligent sample routing into waiting loop if test order is missing
  • Compatible with all sample tubes of following dimensions: Length 80-110 mm, diameter 12-18 mm (including cap)
  • Cabinet dimensions are approximately (HxWxD) 160x220x76 cm.

Receiving Module (Tempus600 Receiving Tray): Located in the laboratory receiving area. The samples arrive, one by one, and are gently slowed down before reaching the Receiving Tray. From there, they are ready to be picked up by laboratory staff.

Tempus600 Connection Module: The sample tubes are delivered from the ward to the laboratory through the dedicated point-to-point system in few seconds. Through the connection module, samples are ready to continue the journey into the bulk loader or sorter. From there, they are automatically transferred onto e.g. a track.

  • Compatible with laboratory automation systems, including bulk loaders and sorters you have already installed, or planning to introduce, in the laboratory.
  • Automated one-touch handling system for sample tubes – fewer work procedures, no hands on the sample tubes and leading to faster and safer handling.
  • In case of high throughput sample transportation over long distances a brake module can be fitted to increase sample throughput.

TM002 Control Unit: You can control and monitor your TEMPUS600 equipment from one display. The system is able to monitor up to 44 sending stations simultaneously and the software can be seamlessly updated online.

3- Clinical Laboratory

It consists of Stand-Alone Solutions (De-Capper, Re-Capper, Sorter and Aliquoter, Archiving) or Combined Solutions.

Decapping DC 1200 : Automated decapping of all tube diameters from 11–16 mm

  • Decapping is carried out in the analysis rack – no reloading is required.

Recapping RC 1200/ 1200S:Automated recapping for tube diameters of 13–16 mm/13-15 mm

DC/RC 900 Flex: Combines pre- and post-analytics in one compact standalone system, preventing repetitive motion incidents associated with manually removing or inserting caps, thereby protecting human resources.

All tubes of 65 to 100 mm length and 11 to 16 mm diameter are processed in a mixed operation without pre-sorting. Other tube sizes can be accommodated upon request.

Bulk Loader BL 1200 – Sorting into rack systems or directly to the laboratory line: Revolutionizes sample processing in the clinical laboratory. Load closed specimen tubes into the bulk loader – no sorting or handling are required. Tubes are automatically placed onto the processing track of the Bulk Loader. Then, the sample type is identified via the integral ID module.

Samples can be distributed and sorted into centrifuge adapters, feeder/exit trays for laboratory lines, analyser racks, standard racks, archiving racks or directly to the laboratory line via the SORT CONNECT module.

Sample distribution system PVS 1625: Full function pre- and post-analytical system

  • Modular configuration according to customer needs. It consists of:

There are two versions of recapper modules for archiving or for sending samples. Tubes are either closed with an archiving cap (all diameters from 13–16 mm) or with a screw cap (Sarstedt tubes with a diameter of 13 or 15 mm).

Barcoded secondary tubes are prepared and the requested volume is dispensed at the Aliquoter. No more sample mix-ups will occur and the available volume will be used in the most efficient way.
